Our Mission:
RESTORE is committed to accelerating discoveries in regenerative medicine through equitable access to stem cell-based technologies, the establishment of best practices that improve reproducibility, comprehensive education and training programs, and sustainable support for high-end research instrumentation serving a broad investigator base.
RESTORE is a UC Merced Shared Research Laboratory (SRL) supported by a 2024 CIRM award to Program Director Dr. Kara McCloskey. Grant funding will fully support facility operations through 2027, followed by a planned transition period with tapering support through 2029.
