Our Mission: The mission of RESTORE is to accelerate regenerative medicine by broadening access to stem cell-based models, advancing standards and reproducibility, increasing educational opportunities, and providing sustainable high-end instrumentation to a wide range of investigators.
RESTORE is a UC Merced Shared Research Laboratory (SRL) funded by a grant to Program Director Dr. Kara McCloskey from CIRM in 2024. The facility will be fully grant funded through 2027 with tapering support through 2029.
